FIVE DOLLAR MISSIONS

Building Relationships through Food

Our biggest outreach event is Five Dollar Missions (5DM). With 5DM, participants meet at a particular fast food chain at a particular time and bring five dollars. The five dollars is used to buy $1 burgers, $1 burritos, or whatever is available. We then take it to the streets and offer our food to the homeless and those who are living on the streets. We go to specific spots where the homeless and people on the streets gather. This is simply an outreach to love our friends on the streets with no strings attached. We go there with no intention, but to bless people and love them the way Christ loves. Through us reaching out with food we build relationships and are better able to meet deeper needs that we come across. Five Dollar Missions is a beautiful way to build relationship and love people with Gods love.
