Is everyone being asked to participate?
Yes, however, Hillside members will be given the first opportunity to participate through the initial stages of the campaign before being presented to the rest of the congregation.
Is there a minimum dollar amount to participate?
There is no minimum dollar amount, however, keeping the total estimated cost in mind, please specifically ask what God will give through you towards the campaign.
How can I participate through gift giving?
There are three different ways you can contribute to this campaign. Read below to find out what those different ways are.
One-Time Gift, Monthly, Quarterly, Semi-Annually, Etc: Hillside wants you to feel comfortable with how and when you participate, so you can start at anytime. However, the official pledge season is January 2012 through December 2012.
In addition to cash gifts, Hillside also welcomes gifts of property assets, appreciated stock, real estate, charitable IRA rollovers, and other assets will be considered on a case-by-case basis by the Board of Hillside. For more details speak to a Prepare the Way team member.
Paid up insurance policies, Savings Bonds, and unneeded annuities can be given to Hillside. Also, Charitable Gift Annuities require a cash gift up front but provide guaranteed, fixed-income for the life of the donor. The residual goes to Hillside at the time of passing. Please contact Hillside if you have further questions about these types of gifts.

Will I know the progress of Phase One?
All aspects of Phase One will be readily available. Hillside will have frequent updates given throughout the process of the phase. There will also be an information booth at each Sunday church service for any further questions.
Is my participation confidential?
Yes, giving is a very personal decision and every pledge and prayer need is strictly confidential.
Is there a deadline?
Yes, so to speak. Because we will only build with the money we have, the sooner money is received the sooner we build.
Can I get involved on the Prepare the Way Capital Campaign leadership committee?
Absolutely, in fact, we encourage your participation at every level. Please contact your Visitation Team Member with any further questions you may have.
Is my gift tax deductible?
Your gift may be tax deductible if you itemize your deductions on your income tax returns.
Can I participate as part of a group?
Yes, you can give individually or as part of group such as a Hillside small group, Remain, Freeway, etc.
